Director of Administration, UChicago Arts
As Director of Administration, UChicago Arts, Jim oversees the financial, human resource, and grants management processes for the UChicago Arts Initiative which includes the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts, Arts and Public Life, The Richard and Mary Gray Center for Art and Inquiry, Arts Science and Culture, and the Provost Arts Initiative. Jim also advises arts partners across the University of Chicago campus and the community. Prior to living in Chicago, he worked for the University of Texas where he specialized in Facilities Finance and Capital Improvement Projects. In addition to Arts Administration, Jim is a touring musician and freelance consultant. He also serves on the board of Access Contemporary Music in Chicago, and is passionate about arts education and building community through the arts. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
