Mark Campana is the Chief Operating Officer for US Concerts at Live Nation Entertainment where he oversees the booking, operations, and venues in the United States. Prior to COO, he was Co President of North American Concerts. Even before this, he operated as President of the Midwest Region of the company. Mark has worked for the company, or its predecessors, since 1980. His first position was in 1979 with the Nederlander Organization as part of the management team responsible for the inauguration of the Poplar Creek Music Theater in Chicago. Over the next 10 years, he was a Project Manager for the amphitheater construction in Chicago, Toronto, Cincinnati, and Washington DC, and he also worked at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. In 1989, he moved into the Booking Department, and in 1994 he became the head of talent acquisition for all Nederlander music facilities outside of Los Angeles. As the head of booking, he was responsible for Alpine Valley Music Theater, The World Music Theater, Riverbend Music Center, Kingswood Music Theater, Merriweather Post Pavilion, and various clubs, theaters, and parks around the country. With the SFX acquisition of the Nederlander Organization, he was appointed the responsibility of booking Chicago, Milwaukee, and Cincinnati, and he eventually became the Regional Vice President of Operations upon the Clear Channel acquisition of SFX. Mr. Campana graduated with a degree in Theater and Arts Management from Illinois State University.
